Sesame residue is a by-product of the oil pressing process from sesame seeds. Sesame residue is a rich source of protein, especially rich in the amino acid methionine, used as a raw material for animal feed production.

In addition, sesame residue can also be used as fertilizer and a source of nutrition for livestock.
